PLAY – A new look for Hed Kandi this Saturday
More construction work is being carried out at Merthyr Nightclub PLAY in time for Hed Kandi’s massive event on Saturday 13th Dec. The DJ pod has been moved to increase size in the VIP section and to give the DJ a clearer view over the dance floor on the upper level. This really gives it a more open plan feel and as the capacity grows and bigger name DJ’s are booked to appear the DJ/audience atmosphere will increase ten fold.
The new DJ pod will be unveiled at this Saturday nights Hed Kandi event when it is expected the London based House music promoters will once again have the venue rockin’ all night. The ‘Hed Kandi presents Stereo Sushi’ event is expected to be a road block and PLAY is excited about its involvement with such a high profile brand.
PLAY owner Naz Mohammed told us, ‘We are over the moon that once again that such a high profile record label such as Hed Kandi are bringing their nights to our venue. This is our third event and they keep on getting bigger and bigger. We are doing everything possible to make sure both the record label and the customers have a great time at PLAY and the more we put in to make the venue bigger and better the more fun we ultimately have during the night’.
As well as the new DJ pod, the ground level Bar with its entrance from the high street will soon be open providing a new experience in eating and drinking out in Merthyr.
